Restore a youthful appearance with dermal fillers
Wrinkles and fine lines are classic, visible signs of ageing. Reduced cell production can thin the skin, leaving your once-fresh complexion looking worn and tired. At Oxley Park Dental Practice we offer dermal fillers, which are a great way to maintain a healthy, youthful appearance whatever your age or complexion.
Dermal fillers are a versatile treatment, able to improve the look of the face, neck and decolletage. Dermal fillers restore volume beneath the skin, whether to replace lost collagen or strengthen the natural structure of your face.
Many patients experience a loss of volume in the lower face due to ageing and turn to dermal fillers to bring out their natural beauty and restore their freshest, most youthful selves.
The benefits of dermal fillers

Dermal Fillers FAQs
Don’t worry, we’ll give you all the help and guidance you need. Dr Bechar understands how best to use dermal fillers to achieve the desired results, so be clear about what you want and rely on their expertise for the best results.
Ultimately it’s up to you, but at Oxley Park Dental Practice we advise enhancing your appearance gradually step by step, as this will enable you to steer the process as it unfolds. Why not take a single, small step and see how you feel?
We use a numbing cream to desensitise the skin before treatment, and the fillers themselves contain a small amount of anaesthetic, meaning that most patients feel little or no discomfort while receiving the fillers. The needles we use are particularly fine, and any tenderness should fade within a few hours.
Some patients might experience a small degree of redness, swelling, and/or bruising, but this is usually minor and will subside within 24 hours. Small bruises at the injection sites can be covered with concealer until they fade. If your medical history makes other side effects more likely, this will be outlined during your consultation.
Stay away from non-steroidal anti-inflammatories such as aspirin, which can cause excess swelling, bruising, or marks at the injection sites. Avoid alcohol two days before treatment, and for another two days afterwards, as it thins the blood, exaggerating bruising and interfering with the healing process.
Dermal fillers can take around two weeks to properly settle, and for any minor bruising to fully disappear. To maximise the effects of your dermal fillers, avoid facial massages or pushing and pulling at your skin, along with intensive scrubbing until the fillers have settled.
“I have been going to Oxley Park Dental Practice for several years and have always received first-class treatment. Would highly recommend this dental practice especially if you have had a bad experience with dentists in the past. Dr Bechar is very good at calming nervous patients and always explains the procedures beforehand.”Read Reviews
