Yes. New patients are welcome at Oxley Park Dental Practice. Our new patient offer includes a thorough examination with intra-oral photos, X-rays taken and examined, and a hygiene visit. We then discuss our findings with you and provide a proposed treatment plan and cost estimate before any treatment begins.

Yes. Continuity of care is central to how we work. Unlike larger practices where you may see a different clinician at each visit, you will see the same dentist, Dr Ashwin Bechar, throughout your care.

We provide general dentistry including examinations, hygiene appointments, white fillings, root canal treatment, gum disease treatment, children's dentistry, emergency care and snoring treatment. Our cosmetic treatments include Invisalign, teeth whitening, composite bonding, veneers, crowns and bridges, SmileFast and smile design. We also offer single and full-smile dental implants.

No. We do not offer amalgam fillings. We use tooth-coloured composite and glass ionomer fillings, which restore the tooth without visible metal.

We use the iTero Lumina digital scanner for digital impressions and smile simulations, so there is no need for traditional moulds. This lets us show you a preview of how your smile could look before treatment begins.

Yes. We take a calm, unhurried approach and many of our patients tell us they feel at ease here. We have a dedicated page for nervous patients, and you are welcome to call ahead to discuss any concerns before your first visit.

Non-surgical treatments such as dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections, along with surgical consultations, are provided through The Oxley Clinic at our Milton Keynes location.

Your care is led by Dr Ashwin Bechar, our principal dentist. You will see the same dentist at every appointment, from your first examination through to the completion of any treatment, so nothing gets lost between visits.

Dr Ashwin Bechar holds a BSc, BDS, MSc (Dent) and a PGCert in Aesthetic Medicine. He is registered with the General Dental Council under registration number 69125, which you can verify on the GDC's public register.

Dr Bechar has been practising dentistry since 1985 and has cared for patients in Milton Keynes for over 26 years. Many of our patients have been with him for well over a decade, and a number bring their children to the practice too.

Dr Bechar has been providing Invisalign treatment since 2013 and was one of the first Invisalign providers in Milton Keynes, with more than 13 years of experience in clear aligner treatment. Every case is planned personally by him using iTero digital scanning.

At a larger or corporate practice you may see a different clinician at each visit, with your history passed between people. Here, one experienced dentist knows your mouth, your history and what you are trying to achieve. It makes for calmer appointments and more consistent long-term care.

Every dentist in the UK must be registered with the General Dental Council. Dr Bechar's registration number is 69125 and can be checked on the GDC's public register. Our practice is also registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission.
